- Why should I hire a professional pet sitter?
If you are like most pet owners, you hate leaving your pet in unfamiliar surroundings when you travel.  Pet care experts agree that in home pet care is much easier on your pet.  It reduces stress, greatly reduces their exposure to illness and parasites and avoids stomach upset by keeping them on their normal schedule, diet and potty routine.  Plus, your pet gets one on one quality time doing whatever they desire!  Whether it is walking, playing, light grooming or just lounging around!  Also, in home pet care is less stressful on you!  There is no transporting your pet anywhere, or imposition on friends, relatives or neighbors who often are too busy and may not make your home and pets top priority.  We provide security for your pets and your home and provide you peace of mind while you are away.  We are true professionals.

- Do you also look after our house?

Yes.  Our home security measures include:  bringing in mail, newspapers, flyers, packages, etc.  We will rotate lights, window coverings and take your trash container to the curb for pick up day, then return it after. We also water plants, fill wild bird feeders and check your entire home everyday for anything that looks out of the ordinary.  All reasonable requests will be honored.  We also respect your home and property as if it were our own. We clean up after your pets and we clean up after ourselves.

Pet Watchers is a family owned and operated business. Teresa, as primary care giver, will do the vast majority of all service visits. However, as trusted professionals, we do have backup measures in place in case of personal emergency, illness, or excessively busy times such as holidays. Immediate family and several long time adult friends, who all have pet care experience and pets of their own, do help out occasionally. We never hire strangers.
